had a second midterm today

what a hectic day, i took out my frustration on a client who was not so successful in his life as a pathological liar. funny how he knew specific details of our conversation a week ago but didn’t remember receiving materials that i provided him. he picked the wrong day to play with me. somehow i found peace and calm before the exam. i think i did well. unfortunately the exam was not as easy as the professor said it would be. i didn’t believe him anyway.. he wrote the test himself, it would be easy for him. nonetheless… it is ovah. see you at the final

i feel pretty

i decided to take a looksey at the MB sample sale today that was at a hotel in midtown. when i entered the room, it was utter chaos. women of all ages and sizes goin absolutely batty over designer shoes. i quickly dug in! I found the designated table with my size and got to diggin. i found a good 6-7 pairs to sift through. i really tried my best to be practical, by telling myself that I would only do one pair and that pair had to be something that would be worn often (as many dressy occasions that it allowed). i tried on quite a few pairs, threw back quite a few more, picked up others that where thrown by the wayside by other women. i decided to walk out the door with one pair and did just that. they are beautiful... purple, exquisite detail, purrfect for goin out. but yes, i put another very sexy pair on hold. they were sexy, fit perfectly but were not a color that i would where. the rhinestones around the ankles really had me, such beautiful detail. i went to the bank..got more money and was on my way back when i decided to call my mom. She pulled me away from the ledge.. she made me rationalize that pink really isn't a color that i would wear and i really was only buyin the $200 shoes because i knew that they retailed for $500. Damn why does she have to be right?
Yes, I did get caught up in all the frenzy... woman were yellin across the room, hording shoes in corners and every once and awhile, trading shoes with other gurls (now that's good shoe karma) but i had to walk away. how in the world will i get through xmas without cash.
so im home... tried on the shoes again. i feel pretty. you know how whoopi (the color purple) felt when she came home to claim the house her mama left her, you know the scene, fur on the shoulders, heels in the snow doin a good shimmy. i feel pretty!
