an interesting thing happened on the way to the gym

okay.. started the new year south beaching like crazy. modifed south beaching, but dieting nonetheless. being that jan is almost over, i decided to hit the gym. so what it was 1/31 when i found motivation. since my car is snug like a bug in the rug of my parents driveway, i am honored to take the bus like all common folk. so i took the bus to my gym.
the funny thing that happened.. an old lady stole my metrocard!!!
earlier that day, I paid $21 for a weekly pass to get me through the commute throughout the week. Anyway, i get on the bus living in my ipod land - oblivous to the world.
i sit in front of a woman who basically looks wierd but whatever. i was in ipod land and did notice her reaching down behind me. i had dropped my metrocard when i sat down and did not realize it
she of course never let me know and neglected to give my card back to me.
if i had the chance i would have asked her if she had been stealing all her life. it would be a long life of prifiling throu the streets. i only pray that in my golden years i wont have to be a criminal runnin (with cane in hand) from the law.
