so here lies my future. actually its my mom's present. her past is about 30 minutes from here. we went down south on Friday so that she can close on her second home. on the ride back to the airport sunday she told me about her upbringings. I like to ask her on different occasions- i often have a different perspective or hear more details about something she's sharing with me. i admire that she's come from a family of hard workers. her brothers and sisters chose do what they thought was best - quit high school before graduation and find work. even my grandfather had no choice but to work at the age of 8. proudly he learned to read later in life and my aunt got her GED after all her kids left the nest. now our future... all the hard work you have in life pays off. so much so that it's a day at the beach... oh yeah my Mom went off and earned a degree in Nursing.
