the men i dated (in no particular order)

aka stuff i had to deal with as a single chick

1) mr. keyser soze - boy was he soo nice when he wooed me into dating him. i didn't notice him when we first met but ah! we end up on a 'blind date' set up by a mutual friend (surprisingly she's still my friend). all gentleman like he asked for a kiss( as opposed to goin in for an attack). so i fell (rather clumsily) hard. we dated for a period of time. of course there were signs that things really weren't what i had in mind (or what i particularly desired). i expected a one on one relationship. he was discovered coming from a jazz club with a female friend about 3mos into our 'relationship'. so thus began a ménage a trios that i didn’t even get to enjoy. so just like in the movies.. he totally was full of surprises and not who he initially presented himself to be.

2) mr. im too sexy- another set up (what is up with my friends??) anyway, dude was cute-- looked a lot like nas in his good days. we had dinner in the village, he flirted with other chicks while we were on the date. our dinner conversation went a little like this - him: you know i have a kid right? me: naw... i didnt see that in your face.

3) mr. blunt- always had an opinion (i walked into this one on my own). he had his say when i asked, when i didnt ask, was quite crass... and sickening. Silence is Golden.

4) mr. crazy -oh this dude had all the right things to say, was really sweet, on Monday. Then on Tuesday when I cancelled dinner plans.. went straight crazy. I swear I met him like that Sunday.

5) mr. needy- cute as hell but expected a domicile little woman. note sure where he got that impression. anyway, i played along just to see what would happen. low and behold he started asking for me to send gifts to his sister's kids who were in the Caribbean. oh yeah, while he was here in the states, he stood me up on a park date. Dude was unemployed. what in the world?

There are other dudes, im sure that for reason or another they have been blocked out of my mind.
