every once and awhile new york, life, of maybe just the day can really be hard. Times when you're tired just from being tired. last night i tried to catch a show at S.O.B's - Leela James. It would have been cool, she's a bomb @ss performer. I left class, took the train and got to the venue. The show is sold out. I forgot to mention that I was having major issues with a "unreadable" $24 unlimited MetroCard all day. So this was like the icing. I was a little upset but not too upset to find food. So a friend and I started out on the adventure of finding food. The adventure took us in a full circle to a place that we passed in the beginning of the adventure. It was a really good mexican spot. Low and behold- you never know who you find in the cut. Why is it that when you run in to a guy friend that you haven't seen in a long time - his date is not is not as happy to see you? My guy friend looked like he was on a first date.. his date was not very excited that we were close. I hate when chicks do that .. .why not fake it like your comfortable in your own skin. After the food and the drinks.. I forgot all about the defeated feeling that I was feeling earlier. I really think about the good meal and great company and learn to appreciate the good with the bad.
